About Meron Langsner, Playwright
Meron Langsner has had his plays performed around the country and overseas, and has won awards from the Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival, ATHE, and others. He was a featured artist at the Last Frontier Theatre Conferenec in Valdez, Alaska in 2006.
His directing was given international media attention in May 2006 when he staged Tonya & Nancy: The Opera at the Zero Arrow Theatre in Cambridge, MA.
Meron also works professionaly as a fight director in New England and New York City.
He holds an MA in Performance Studies from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and an MFA in Playwriting from Brandeis University. Currently, Meron is pursuing a PhD in Drama at Tufts University.
